The Arby's Girl
Stomach feels that roast beef would really hit the spot.
So I head toward Arby's. My mouth begins to water at the thought of how wonderful this roast beef is going to taste...
Just one more car to go by and I can pull into the parking lot, yes now I am pulling up to the sidewalk.
I get outside of the car a this wonderful aroma gently caresses my nostrils, oh yes, the wonderful smell of roast beef...
I walk in the door and wow, what a line...
There has to be at least 12 people in front of me in line. I now look down at my watch, 12:15pm I landed smack dab in the middle of fast food rush hour...
It's OK I am off this day, and I can wait...
My stomach starts to rumble as this thought comes a crossed the mind...
I am waiting, and then waiting some more...
Then I noticed something...
The Arby's girl...
She was not overly attractive, nor was she unattractive, she was just there...
What she was doing however, was really bizarre...
I watch in disbelief, as she greeted each and every customer...
She would have a positive comment on their clothing, or their hair, or some of them she knew and would ask "hey, been out on the boat lately?"
These very brief comments, and conversations, were completely fascinating...
She uplifted each, and every person she met...
As many of the people were serious, or angry before they got to her, each one went to their tables or their cars with a big smile on their face...
Why is this bizarre?
How may people do you know that do this with every person they meet?
How would the world change if everyone would do this?
I tell you one thing, the Roast beef tasted better than ever!
So when you meet a stranger - Remember the Arby's Girl, and ask how can I uplift this person today...
Jesus Christ who lives in your heart, will smile when you do this...
For joy is brought to Christ when we up lift another, for love is the language that Christ speaks...

What net?
best friends sharing joy in the white sand...
making birthday cakes out of sand...
a wonderful party was there...
a great time was had by all who attended...
laugher was felt as sand flew into the air...
a celebration of sharing in the vastness of suggested imagination...
only the adults noticed the volley ball net that crossed the white sand court...
can we ignore the net...
can we enter the fantasy world of four year olds...
the cake was amazing...

Not a bad trade...
An eternal peace is what we can experience beyond the dream of our separateness...
Yet, we attempt a jiggling act when we try to hold onto our individuality or indivi-duality...and to experience God at the same time...
Individuality is the dream of us being separate form God to begin with...
the dream of us running off to play by ourself...
Now does it make sense why to hold onto to our dream of separateness, and to experience oneness with God at the same time is not possible...
One keeps us dreaming of being away form God...
One awakens us to the eternal peace and joy as we experience God extended though us - as this where we have never left...
We must choose between an illusionary dream of being away from God - or - letting go of the littleness that we are not and awakening to eternal peace that we are as spirit...
Where there is no more need for time...our eyes will have opened to experience sharing unconditional love, peace and joy for an eternity....
Whether we awaken from the dream of separation of sooner or later, does not really matter...
Do we choose peace now, or later is the question...
I release my individuality that kept me dreaming of being away...I give it to the dove that flies in the night...
for it takes away the darkness and loneliness of our perception of separation from God...
It brings in the golden light of love, the awakening to God...
We have given up a nightmare, for an eternity of love...
Not a bad trade...

The ride home...
The wheels of our vehicle turn...
the magic flows...
Every little twinkling light brings such joy to Morgan...
Daddy look another Ho, Ho...
Daddy look a candy cane...
Her joy is a warmth that fills my heart...
Its like a golden light that shines in soft beams, caressing everything it touches...
I begin to see with a new sight inspired by this joy, and love that she bring out in me...
Though the eyes of a child, its as if I am seeing everything for the first time...
We stare in wonder as the wheels of our vehicle continue to turn...
It is our magical ride though this kingdom of lights...
As we travel along...
Each corner we turn another house with more joy to share...
We laugh and point, and laugh some more...
Each string extending out with many little lights that come together to make a shape, and form, making a object that brings smiles to our faces, and joy to our hearts...
How many more smiles will we add when those catch lights in our eyes are shared by others?
Who will you brighten up this holiday season with the joy in your heart, and the twinkle in your eyes?

Bed Time Angel
Morgan looks down at the angel in her hands. She was homemade and had eyes, but did not have a nose or mouth.
"Daddy why does this angel not have a mouth?" says Morgan.
"Well maybe she does not need a mouth to tell you that she loves you. Maybe she just loves you without saying so" I say
"I don't think so, can you please draw a mouth on her" says Morgan
So I take the angel into the office get a marker and draw a nose and a smiley face on her. I hand her back to Morgan.
"That's much better dad!" she says
We say prayers together and I pet her head (her term) and we talk for a while.
As we are first time parents, I ask her how we are doing often.
"Your doing a pretty good job dad. I love you and mommy both!" she says
With a smile I say good night...

What if...The game of life
What if...
What if for the next seven days you challenged yourself...
Do you have what it takes?
What if you do?
What if you decided that you would say or do something nice to each and every person as soon as you see them...?
Strangers, family and friends are all included...
What if you see that person many times a day?
Yes, the rules are each time you see them you come up with something to say or do...
What if you asked your family and friends to play too?
What might you discover about people you know?
What might people learn about you?
Might people discover things that you appreciate about them that they did not know?
What if this game was very fun and up lifting to play?
What if this game was contagious and people decided to tell people about it?
How many smiles will you bring?
How many hearts can you warm?
How many can warm your heart?
What if you began to play this game on your very next breath...
What if for the next seven days you challenged yourself...
Do you have what it takes?
What if you do?
What if you decided that you would say or do something nice to each and every person as soon as you see them...?

Which teacher will you choose?
There are teachers of love, and teachers of hate...
Which you will be a student of - says a lot about who you feel you are...
We you learn peace of unity, or more pain of separation?
Which teacher will you choose?
Why will you choose them?
Know peace or know judgment...
For there is no in between...
To judge is to instantly be judged for it is a mirror that stands in front of you...
Whether you see Christ standing in front of you - or a "lonely person" depends on which teacher you have learned from...
Which teacher will you choose?

The smile of Christ is yours...
To meet one - where they feel they are...
To share in what they feel...
They are not alone...
You are there...
Christ is there - as one - in both of you...
To look into the eyes of another is to see the face of God in you...
For what you feel is "separate" is but an illusion...
What you feel as "one" - is truth...
Walk in this moment...
Two hands - with fingers intertwined...
Two palms touching with the warmth of embrace...
Love...
Union...
To know this "union" is to know truth...
For love is truth...
What is in your heart is truth...
Share the union of palms touching...
The smile of Christ is yours...
To share in what they feel...
They are not alone...
You are there...

Expression of freedom...
I have ten minutes to write this post so here goes...
Expression of freedom is in your heart...
Passion to share...
For your heart knows that sharing is its purpose...
To hold prisoner your thoughts, feelings and desires, is to suffer...
To share them is to shine...
To glow the golden light of God...
How many moments will you share?
How much happiness do you desire?
To share is to grow; to grow is to love...
Love is you glowing though sharing...
But I'm not sure what this person will think about what I have to share...
Your judgment of your self is far greater than anything you will receive from another...
To punish you is to suffer needlessly...
God seeks not to punish you...
Unconditional love sees no guilt...
For guilt is of ego in a dream of separation from God...
It is just mis perception...
to release this mis perception is to experience the true expression of freedom...
only you hold yourself prisoner...
Sharing love is you're "Key" to freedom...
Will you use your Key?
