The ride home...
The wheels of our vehicle turn...
the magic flows...
Every little twinkling light brings such joy to Morgan...
Daddy look another Ho, Ho...
Daddy look a candy cane...
Her joy is a warmth that fills my heart...
Its like a golden light that shines in soft beams, caressing everything it touches...
I begin to see with a new sight inspired by this joy, and love that she bring out in me...
Though the eyes of a child, its as if I am seeing everything for the first time...
We stare in wonder as the wheels of our vehicle continue to turn...
It is our magical ride though this kingdom of lights...
As we travel along...
Each corner we turn another house with more joy to share...
We laugh and point, and laugh some more...
Each string extending out with many little lights that come together to make a shape, and form, making a object that brings smiles to our faces, and joy to our hearts...
How many more smiles will we add when those catch lights in our eyes are shared by others?
Who will you brighten up this holiday season with the joy in your heart, and the twinkle in your eyes?

The painting of our thoughts...
I watch as Morgan pulls her rainbow plastic slinky out the soapy water...
The water flies into the air, as if each drop is racing to touch the sky...
The orchestra of laughter comes from one tiny musician of joy...
One larger musician joins in with deeper laugher...
The audience of Barbie dolls are speechless as they watch the performance...
She plunges the rainbow slinky into the water again...
She pulls it with both hands and the rainbow colors of it remind me of life...
There are many colors, none more important than another...
All in harmony, as everywhere we see one color touches another...
As you look down at the colors you're touching, all the sudden you don't feel so alone...
If you were to continue along the colors you would eventually touch the colors beneath my hands...
Our hands would touch...
And I would smile, as I would call you my friend...
All that we experience in this moment is a painting of our thoughts...
What will you paint next?

Bed Time Angel
"Daddy why does this angel not have a mouth?" says Morgan.
"Well maybe she does not need a mouth to tell you that she loves you. Maybe she just loves you without saying so" I say
"I don't think so, can you please draw a mouth on her" says Morgan
So I take the angel into the office get a marker and draw a nose and a smiley face on her. I hand her back to Morgan.
"That's much better dad!" she says
We say prayers together and I pet her head (her term) and we talk for a while.
As we are first time parents, I ask her how we are doing often.
"Your doing a pretty good job dad. I love you and mommy both!" she says
With a smile I say good night...

The faith of release...
I am silent right now...
Soreness in the throat, ear hurts inside, and the voice has faded...
Yet it is only the voice of the body that has faded...
The real me is still unchanged...
No matter what happens to the body, the real you always remains unchanged...
Yes, God is perfect, and extended you in Gods own image as the timeless, eternal, unchanging, unconditional love, peace, eternal joy and bliss that the "spirit you" as alway been...
The real you was created though a pure extension of God, and is thus timeless and eternal...
It is forever unchanging as it extends eternally in all directions, without limitation...
Look around were you believe your body self to be, and you will notice nothing but limitations...
For the body you is very small, and very limited...
It is limited in knowledge...
Limited in abilities...
Limited for it seems to be separate from everything...
It even has an expiration date just like food does...even though you are not told what this expiration date is...
Yet though all these limitations so many of you insist in placing all of your identity in this little body...
Why is that?
Because that "little you" is familiar to you...
Thus it feels safe and secure to you on some level...
Because you know it...
Fear often arises when you even think or consider what is outside of this little you...
This is not amusing, as peace, love and eternal joy are what awaits...
Yet just as a first time diver - you stand, and jump up and down on the board...
Will you take the plunge?
Will you release what you have made, to embrace what God has created...that timeless eternal you that is pure unconditional love...
Deep faith is about letting go of what your not "judged, judging, just a body, not connected, conditionally loved, conditionally loving, fear, hurt, sadness, pain, suffering, loss..."
To embrace what you are - a wonderful timeless, eternal spirit that is unchanging, unconditional love, peace, eternal joy and bliss...
To give up a dream of separation - to awaken to an eternity of joy...
I want nothing more than for you to experience who you are in the deepest level...
for you to experience complete peace...complete and total love...
So will you continue to dream...
For as long as you hold onto the "nothing of separation from the unconditional love that you are..."
you will continue your dream of being away from God...you will have and lose all that you love, and then do it again - in a "groundhog day" - till you decide you will make another choice...
Where do you want to root your identity next?
or will you choose to awaken...
Do you want to choose that you that is timeless and eternal joy and bliss?
You have the power to choose joy or pain in every moment of your life...
Where do you put your faith in this moment?
Will you give up nothing, to gain everything?
Know peace, know unconditional love, know the real you...
You can chose to know this NOW...
What lies beyond the limited is the eternal you...
To experience the eternal in every moment of now...
To know God within and without in the eternal bliss of you...
The Lords Prayer - repost
Friday, June 22, 2007
What's you view of the Lord's prayer?
This wonderful prayer is shared weekly by millions and millions of people from all over the globe. For many it is shared daily.
Lets first look that the prayer in its entirety, and then we will brake it down as we share it together.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
Now lets take this line by line and break it down so that it makes even more sense!
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Our father - the creator of our timeless eternal spirit of unconditional love - who is in our true home in this very moment of now...
Hallowed be thy Name.
Most holy father, you are but one God - no matter what name you are called in what religion, or country we perceive you, you are our love, our life, and we praise you...
Thy kingdom come.
When we awaken from the dream of being separate from you...yes the kingdom of your love will we share eternally...
Thy will be done,
We will awaken father...
awaken to the our singular purpose for that which we were extended from you...
awaken to share unconditional love for all eternity...
On earth as it is in heaven.
This dream of separation from you "known as earth" will no longer be a dream of separation...
we will awaken to remember we never left you, we have been so safe...
safe in our real reality, only ever harmed in a dream of separation...
Give us this day our daily bread.
Help us to hear the voice of the holy spirit in our minds....
The holy spirit is our guide sent by you, to help us to awaken from this nightmare of being separate from you...
Help us to hear the holy spirit's voice - the voice that only leads to thoughts, and acts based on unconditional love...
Help us to forgive and release any ego thoughts that are of judgment and harm to others...
Daily intention
It is our intention today, and every day to hear the voice of unconditional love, to embrace love, and share that voice...
And forgive us our trespasses,
Forgive us for dreaming of being away from you...for all our unkind actions in this dream are based on fear...
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
every moment we forgive we are listening to your guide the holy spirit...
Help us to hear your guide in every moment...
And lead us not into temptation,
The other voice in your mind that says God is a punishing, vengeful, wrathful, fearful God and you better hide from him...
this is a fake voice...
it is the voice of your own pretend individuality...
this is the fake voice of the ego...
how long will you continue to listen to a voice that keeps you from remembering unconditional love?
Forgive it, and release it, for it is not of God, and thus is not now, nor will it ever be, real...
You must let go of what is not real, to remember what is...
But deliver us from evil.
Deliver us from this ego voice that says your everything bad...
That you should be feared...
Unconditional love never judges, nor will it ever have the capacity to judge...
- So quit running away from God -
and turn around, smile, and
run to God...
run with your arms spread wide,
tears of joy running down your face,
and jump into God's love...its forever eternal, it's for ever yours, take it now...
For thine is the kingdom,
God's kingdom is our birthright,
It is our kingdom to share...
God who is perfect love, extended "it self" as "you" who as spirit are also perfect love...
you were extended for the sole purpose of sharing unconditional love - eternally...
heaven is the only real home we will ever have...
as spirit we extend the kingdom of God as a timeless sharing of unconditional love...
When we do this on earth though acts of unselfish sharing, we begin to awaken and remember who we really are...
and the power,
The power sharing unconditional love...
and the glory,
Living and sharing love with God eternally, it is a reality, it is our true reality, you have but to embrace it...
for ever and ever.
Eternally...
Amen.
We believe...

The smell of rain...the e-mail
Today I received an e-mail which was forward from a friend/client of mine. She received the e-mail from one of her co-workers.
In the e-mail was a lot of posts from both my blogs put into a Microsoft Word doc.
When my friend/client forwarded it to me she had no idea that it was from my blogs.
OK, so maybe I am wrong in my assumption that not many people getting to read that which I am writing.
I already got my writing forwarded back to me though forwarded e-mails.
Here's to sharing positive writing!
I have one more big thing to be thankful about this thanksgiving!

A hug...
It is such a way of saying "I accept you as you are"
I hug just about everyone I meet...the only ones I don't are those who would be upset to get a hug..
Anyone who knows me knows this about me...
Why?
Because I do accept you all...
I accept you just as you are...
Should you want to change who you are and ask me for help I will be there helping you...
I will accept the new you, just as I accepted the old you...
You deserve all of my acceptance, and all of it you shall have with every breath I take...
I love to hug strangers too...
They deserve my acceptance too, I give it to them as I share a hug...
Who will you share a hug with?
Here is my favorite hug video!

I Am Angry (probably not at you)
Lately, I have started to notice just how angry of a person I am. If you know me either personally or through my writing you may be shocked to find out that I am riddled with anger.Click here to read the rest of Craig Photography post
Anger is an easy emotion to find.
It comes from our perception of unfairness.
From our expectation that people are going to be a certain way.
If you expect that people some are not going to "think their way is the only way" then you will be disappointed and angry.
With many people that is just the way that it is.
Our world has a perceived population of over 6.5 billion people with each and every person seeing life from a different point of view, and we wonder why our opinions and actions differ?
I wonder why they don't differ more often (smiling)
There are as many paths as their are snowflakes...
Many lead to anger...
Others lead to other emotions...
Which ones should you take?
What do you wish to experience?
It's your choice, you choose to experience everything you see, hear, touch, taste, smell and more...
I have learned one very important thing which is this:
Choosing individuality holds us to experiencing what is here...
Letting it go frees you to experience what is beyond here...
Observing and experiencing it seems to be that way for everyone.
Not everyone wants to experience what is beyond here.
For it is what is not familiar to them.
Your all in the drivers seat...you are in complete control over where you go next...
I gave up on trying to change the world a long time ago, I decided to change my mind about it instead.
Through my blog I try to share some paths to peace for those who wish to walk them...they are not the only paths but ones that some will relate to.
How many will?
Maybe a handful at most.
Thats fine with me.
Even if I only touch one person in a positive way, then all the writing I do is worth it.
My goal is to be positive with every person I meet in person, or don't meet though my writing.
But that's just my gig.
It doesn't have to be yours.
You choose where you are right now, and where you will be tomorrow...
If you want to be angry, then it's your right to be angry.
If you don't want to be angry then drop your expectation of people to zero.
The number of total acceptance and be free of the anger.
I am telling you nothing you don't already know.
Fun with shopping!
While I was grocery shopping I focused on the love in the hearts of each and every person my eyes fell upon.
I felt sadness and hurt with some people, others were very guarded...
I focus deeper beyond that hurt, beyond those wall and shields...
I focus deep inside their hearts to a love that is beyond all hurts...beyond all need for protection, for this love is timeless and eternal, and can never be taken away...
Then I met their eyes and smiled at them...
As this store was very big, and very crowded their were many people who I did this with.
People smiled back...
Some said "Hi"...
Some even stopped and talked to me as if they have known me all their life...
Some seemed busy and upset, till our eyes met...
Then they seemed to forget what they were upset about, and started smiling...
how simple it is to see the beauty in each and every person on a walk though a store...
How simple it is to bring joy by seeing the love in everyone...
Will your next shopping trip be boring, or will it be an experience to remember?
Will you experience the joy as you recognize it in others?
Will you share it with a stranger?
Will you experience that they are not really a stranger after all...
Will you smile today?
The path to one...
IN the November 17th post of Shards of Conscoiusness
If We Were One
November 17th, 2007 by Richard CockrumIf I gave you love,
spoke the secret of my heart
would you share my dreams?
Would you...
Click here to read the rest.
Rick, you do not have to do a thing,
by you simply being who you are, that is enough to awaken our one soul...
I do love your poem though (big smile)
The path to one...
If we were one I would smile right now - as I am smiling...
If we were one in this dream of life I could;
feel a tree rooted and grounded, yet who's branches sway with the caress of wind... a tree silently observing what we call life...
think of someone water skiing and feel all the sensations of water skiing...
think of someone racing a car and feel all those sensations too...
think of a mother and child and experience the love of birth...
know that I need for nothing material, as someone somewhere that we are one with has it...
take my attention to the wind flow, gently caressing all that I touch, swirling and flowing... stopping to take a breath, and flowing again...
walk down into a pyramid in Egypt...see the hieroglyphics of communication of that time...feel connected to them...
meditate with monks in Tibet...
These are all things that I have experienced on the path to peace...
These all show our connectedness, but still are but a step on your path to true oneness...
Oneness with separation, or oneness with a dream of being separate from God, is the first big experience on your path to knowing peace...
although a place of greater peace than where you perceive you currently are...it is not the final answer...do not settle till you know God within...
Till you are able to see God in every "Shard of Consciousness" or person if you will...
I could take my attention to your heart...I could go beyond all the hurt to find a love that is timeless and eternal as the very spirit that it represents...I do...Do this with every person you meet...experience what you discover...
A wise monk once said "If you can't see God in the next person you meet, you need not look any further..."
Let this be your goal...
For truth of these words is yours now...

Sunday's TSO concert!
The snow flakes were falling...but we were indoors...
Lasers were beaming in lines that intersected as they pulsed to the beat...
Waling guitars jamming the wonderful energy of the Celebration of Christmas...
Fire shooting up...in time with the music...
fireworks blazing...
Orchestra musicians with the bows buzzing to the huge energy of this sharing of music...
softer now...
Echo's of a booming, deep, caring voice of a narrator telling a Christmas story...
Amazing songs intertwined around this beautiful story...
some soft, and touching...
some in high energy of the celebration of sharing...
This is an amazing sensory sharing in the love of celebration...
A celebration of joy...
A sharing of profound music by a band of women and men known as Trans Siberian Orchestra or TSO.
If you get the chance to see them in concert do not miss it!
Here are some videos of TSO here, here, here and here
Many people have made their home outdoor Christmas displays around TSO's music. here

Movie Review - Beowulf in digital 3D
OK that spear is coming and I'm moving out of the way!
A digital 3D CG movie...
Wow, Wow and Wow again!
The Digital 3D in this movie was so amazing, I was completely blown away!
It was the coolest movie watching experience ever! Everything had such amazing depth and clarity.
I am now a big fan of Digital 3D!
"Beowulf" is one of the oldest folk stories.
The spiritual meaning I got from the movie was this...
In land of physical we can have gold riches and lust...
We think it will make us happy...
We grow to find out this is not true...
We start over again...
We are back again with gold riches and lust....
We think it will make us happy...
We grow to find out this is not true...
We start over again...
That is where the movie ends...
Will this be where your movie ends?
When will you decide to make a new choice?
When will you look within, to find the love that you already have is eternal?
When will you learn that unconditional love never judges?
When will you realize that this love that never judges is within you?
When will I be patient till you find this?
As long as it takes...
One...
Stillness of the heart...
One beat...
One breath...
One brother...
One son...
One is the sound of an eternal heart...
One is the love of all...
One is the fire of all hopes and dreams...
One is the extension of the father...
One level...
One love...
One God...

Books? Yea baby!
Can You Spell Bibliophile?
November 13th, 2007 by Richard CockrumDo you like books. I like books. I like the smell of old paper. I like the feel of the binding as it rests in my hand while I (click here to read the rest of Ricks post)
My wife, daughter and I all love books.
My reading started when I was very young. I read mostly books on science and human behavior. Eventually my interest shifted to spirituality.
I never knew the fun and adventure you can have in fiction books. My wife turned me onto reading sci-fi and fantasy. It was a wonderful escape into a world of imagination. I read some of David Eddings books which I enjoyed.
My wife and I read the whole Harry Potter series together. Awesome character development there. Get you to care about the characters as if they were your own kids. Very enjoyable reading!
Here is my replies to Rick's Questions:
How many books do I have?
We have just over a thousand books in our home.
What’s the last book I read?
"The Biology of Belief" by Bruce Lipton on Audio book. This is a fantastic book that bridges the science of biology and our thoughts, beliefs and outer world (signals) that choose which DNA blueprints will be not only be selected, but how they will be read.
It blows the old gene theory of predetermination by our inherited genes right out of the water!
If you have ever asked the question why is the body the way that it is?
Buy, and listen to this book! This is one you really want on audio book.
What’s the last book I bought?
Zen in the Art of Archery by Eugen Herrigel. I have not had the chance to read it yet. So no reviews yet.
Five (plus one) Meaningful Books
1. The Celestine Prophecy - by James Redfield - This is the great adventure into beginning spiritual concepts in an Indiana Jones style of fun
2. The Power of NOW - On audio book - I highly suggest getting the audio book of this book. This is a wonderful beginning into deeper spiritual concepts. I have now recommended this book to over a thousand different people and only one out of all of them did not finish it because they did not like it.
3. The Disappearance of the Universe - by Gary Renard - If you have ever said just give me the answers. Just hit me over the head with them. Then this book is for you. Read it to the very end without judgment then go back and read it again. Then buy the audio book and listen to that too. I have recommended this book to hundreds of people who have loved it. It is a very profound - but easy read.
4. Your Immortal Reality - by Gary Renard - Go deeper into the practice of the first book. Both books are a wonderful foundation to the next book on my list of must reads. They are all about this next book.
You know when people where young in their spirituality and thought God can be perfect and judging at the same time.
When they thought that God could be unconditionally loving yet judging and wrathful at the same time.
When you think about how God is described in the Bible its as if he was a toddler. Happy one moment, and throwing a temper tantrum the next. Jealous because he did not get his way and acting out as a result of this.
It was wrote for the people of that time period. Like most books written in the past. It still has some good things to say that apply now too.
A Course in Miracles is written for our generation. Was it divinely inspired? Just read a few pages and you be the judge.
It is the most profound spiritual work of art that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
Yes, it is an actual experience in discovering who you are as spirit. It is a systematic stripping away of who you are not. To embrace who you really are and discover the true meaning of the word peace.
It addresses who your not, (your ego mind) in attempt to bring you to who you are - That timeless eternal spirit created by God in all your glory.
It is a path to awakening now.
It is by far the best book I have ever read.
I am currently sharing and teaching a class in A Course in Miracles - It is a wonderful experience beyond words.
Daddy who is God?
Our three year old Morgan asked me "Daddy who's God"
I replied "Honey you know how you snuggle with daddy and mommy and you hold us tight?"
(She nods)
"You know that feeling of love inside that is so deep that it just feels so warm and wonderful as you hug us?"
(she nods again)
"That love that we share is God in your heart..."
"That love will be there in every moment of your life..."
"Allow it to grow in you, and it will blossom as you do..."
"OK, daddy I will" she says
"Everyone has that same love within them, as everyone has God within. Only most don't know he's there yet...but they will..." I say
And with a big smile on her face I know she gets it.
I smile back...as we share this smile of peace...
Smile - as your starting to get it :-)

The laryngitis has lifted...
Freedom...
Trust in the voice that knows no judgment...
Allow that voice to be yours...
For in fact, beyond all illusions...
That really is your voice...
Aren't you glad to have it back?

I am gratful...
As I was reading Shards of Consciousness Sunday Reading 11 Nov 2007. (Which BTW I really love reading)
I read about Nneka running a Season of Gratitude
The fingers begin to type as my mind goes blank...
I am grateful for my father - God...
I am thankful to be an extension of God...
Created for the purpose of sharing love, creating, and extending that love in an infinite kingdom that is beyond time...
When I am not dreaming of being away, I experience that love that is beyond words...
I experience the full meaning of my creation in infinite bliss...
I am thankful for my role as a guide in the dream of separation...
I am thankful that it is only in a nightmare that we could be separate from God...
I am thankful that only in a nightmare could we hurt one another...
In a nightmare where we forgot to laugh...
In a nightmare where we forgot who we are...
In a nightmare where we forgot God...
I am thankful for your voice gently calling...
It's OK, you were just dreaming...You've never left me...I could never forsake you...you are my extension and my love...
Peace be it that which knows "only love is real..."
I am thankful for your voice, as it is my voice...as "our voice" is but one...
I rejoice as each part of one mind finds the truth of love and awakens...
I am thankful to see Christ in each and every person, no matter how deeply they try to hide who they really are...
I am thankful for most powerful word in our language...
Surrender...
To surrender the attachment of an individual dream identity, to know the eternal spirit that you are...
I am thankful to be able to give up what is nothing, to gain what is everything...
I am thankful for this eternal moment of NOW in which peace knows no end...
I am thankful for you reading this...for as you do - Christ's eyes are reading these words, and smiling deeply within...
Great fun with Neuroplasticity!
Neuroplasticity, Neuroplasticity - gettin down - with the Neuroplasticity...
Oh, sorry about that, was just having fun with the Neuroplasticity rap...
Come on sing it, it's fun!
On Wednesday, Nov 7th on the Craig Photography blog John asked for replies on if we felt photography affected the Neuroplasticity of the brain.
As this subject can get as complicated as it's name is, I am going to shoot for just the basics, to just barely touch on how photography can affect the brain.
First off lets define what "Neuroplasticity" is for those who are going Neuro-what?
I really like this definition found on this page
Plasticity, or neuroplasticity: is the lifelong ability of the brain to reorganize neural pathways based on new experiences.
So can photography help the neuroplasticity of the brain?
Yes, it can.
Does it always do this?
No, it does not.
Ever look at a photograph and go "that does nothing for me?"
You feel no emotion evoked when viewing the photograph, it's just there.
Sure you have.
In contrast when you see a photograph that is very moving to you, you feel captivated by it. You feel it deeply inside you. It is a rush of emotion, many chemical shifts are happening in the brain as this happens.
"I have never see an innocence captured that way before..."
"Wow, there is so much warmth, I can really feel the love between those people, never seen that captured on film that way before..."
"New" is the experience of the viewing of these two different kinds of photographs.
The profound evoking of emotion, and the "New" of the experience of the photograph invokes the reorganization neural pathways.
How about impressionistic photographs?
Photographs that force your imagination to be invoked...
Force you to see and imagine something brand new...
OK lets go back to the definition again...
Lets see here...
Plasticity, or neuroplasticity: is the lifelong ability of the brain to reorganize neural pathways based on new experiences.
Hmmm "new experiences"
Check!
Impressionism would fall into that category.
"A picture is worth a thousand words..."
Sound familiar to you?
Why have you head this phrase before? Because in many cases it is true.
So...
When photographing...
do you want to take a 2D flat photo that says nothing or -
maybe you could...
move...
shift as you look at things from different angles / /
change the lighting...
change the ____-------=====> composition...
change your depth of field...
feel your creativity flowing as you...
do what ever it takes to make it -
a work of art...
when you are happy with it...
press the button and just smile...
Share in the neuroplasticity that will be invoked by your photographic art!
Could it be that healing is just a click away?

The infinite step...
We have taken many steps though out what we call life...
Which of these has been forward?
Which has been in reverse?
We think we know where life begins and ends...
If you think you know, then you are wrong...
For "thinking" is of the mind, and the mind has no idea where real life begins and ends...
Your spirit however, knows this well...
It knows its beginning as a "spark of extension" of a love so pure it defines the word "unconditional"...
It knows not it's ending...for it has no ending...
It is forever infinite...
Who you really are can never die...
Endings are only for dreams...
For "God" is your beginning, and your continuation...
Aren't you glad to know you can choose to be who you really are?

Daddy, its grandma Ferrari!
Morgan was so excited to see her grandma on the computer screen!
Morgan will usually not talk on the phone, she just listens.
But seeing her grandma on the screen, she talked and was very excited about it!
I just have to get all the grandparents up and running so they can all see and talk to her though the computer.
There is even a button to record the video/conversation and e-mail it to friends and family.
Technology is really amazing!
We bought a Philips - Pixel Plus Web Cam Model SPC900 NC/00
It is one of a few that will work well with Windows Vista.
If you happen to get one ignore the instructions on the CD pull off the red tape and plug it into the USB port on your machine. Windows update will download the correct drivers with no problem.
The Fireside Inn...
Bodies moving to vibrations of sound...
Many different voices singing to many styles of music...
Friends laughing, sharing and uplifting and supporting one another...
smiles a crossed the room...
toasts of celebration...
Old passions still unsaid - on faces to behold...
The new - sharing - who were briefly strangers...
Who are now friends...
This is Saturday night fun at a place known as the Fireside Inn...
